Well, Ada's birthday celebration was short-lived, and replaced by a HIGH fever and chills. It scared us and broke our hearts.
She wanted so badly to feel better. Picture this: Ada is crying hard, tears streaming down her face, so hard that sometimes its that silent cry where the mouth is wide open but no sound comes out. Awful. Gut-wrenching. No good. BUT she's such a trooper that she's clapping at the same time. She clapped and cried herself to sleep several times over the last couple of days. It's been tough.
The international clinic diagnosed it as a "virus" and prescribed ibuprofen. Her fever has come down some, but is still not gone. Ada seems to be feeling some better too, and spent an hour this morning playing and laughing. We can't wait to have her back in good health and spirits.
More pictures soon, I promise. In the meantime, send Ada some love, prayers, and get-well wishes!

Oh, poor munchkin, I hope you're feeling better soon. Your daddy and mommy must be so worried. It's really kind of you to be such a brave little girl. All our hugs and kisses as well as our prayers are with you.

I am so sorry she has been sick. That can be scary, too. What a trooper. Love and kisses to Ada.
